Martha "Fay" Murray

Martha Fay Murray was born on March 18, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Homer and Dorothy Rycroft in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated Southeast High School in 1961. Fay married Alton L. Murray on January 28, 1966. She enjoyed ceramics, plants and flowers. Fay loved watching her soaps every day. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially loved watching her grandchildren grow up. Fay departed from this life on July 27, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Alton Murray; daughter, Barbara Avery and husband Jimmy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Jimmy Murray and wife Candi of Moore, Oklahoma; four grandsons: Derek Murray, Dalton Murray, Zachary Murray and Anthony Avery; two granddaughters; Tiffany Murray and Brooklyn Murray. Fay is preceded in death by her parents Homer and Dorothy Rycroft and one daughter Chris Murray. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 2 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
