on 8/15/2024 in her home, surrounded by her family, friends & loved ones. She was preceded in
death by her parents Betty & Raymond Dotson, Husband Leonard Fletcher (12 yrs), (ex husband
Bill Myers, of 32 years), sister & brother-in-law JC and Marie Crawford, sister-in-law Kathy
Wallace, and great nephew Ben Raemond Maughan.
Martha who was known as ‘Marty’ found many joys in life and loved many things. She loved to
spend time with sister Charlotte, her children Sharri and Scott and her grandchildren. She loved
to paint and one of her favorite things to paint were redbirds. She loved to watch O.U. games
and would fight for the t.v. because she wasn’t going to miss a game. She found love in the
beauty of nature and all of God’s creations and she loved God. At a very early age she found
Jesus and from the exact moment that she found Jesus she never strayed from his side. She
raised her children to love and trust in Jesus. To try and list all of the qualities that made Marty
a beautiful soul would be almost impossible and wouldn’t fit in the space we have. If her family
had to use one word to describe her it would be LOVE. Love for her children, love for her
grandchildren, love for her sister. Love of life and love of the Lord. She simply loved and through
that her children learned from a very early age to love all of the things that she loved. To say
that she is going to be missed is the world’s largest understatement. But missing her is going to
be something we will do every day of our lives, loving her is something that we will do with each
breath until we are called home to be with her. God blessed the world the moment he gave
Marty to us and the world is a better place, an even beautiful place because she was here and
she has left her fingerprints upon it. Missing her is going to be heartbreaking, but being allowed
to love her was and is a gift that God gave to us. God knew we would need Marty and we know
that now Marty is at home with God. So until we are able to be reunited with her we will continue
to love her, remember her, honor her and above all love her.
