Mary B. Shaffner

Marie was preceded in death by husband, George A. Shaffner; parents, Louis N. and Nannie E. (Wylie) Bentley; brothers: Elmer, Clarence, and Floyd; sisters: Mable Champion and Virgie Lowry.

She is survived by her daughter Nita Snider and husband Cecil; granddaughter Jennifer Seeley Rains; great-granddaughters Olivia and Gracyn Rains; extended family Mickey Snider, Terrel Snider, Gregg Snider and wife Teresa; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marie loved to sit on the hill at her farm looking over the valley; maintaining her home and farm; entertaining family and friends; dancing; gardening; travel; and fishing.

The family would like to thank those who cared for and loved Marie during her illness. Special thanks go to the staff at Oxford Glen Memory Care, Owasso, OK and her Physicians Choice Hospice team.

The memorial service to celebrate her life will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, S.E., 5005 S.E. 29TH Street, Del City, OK 73115.

Family requests that memorial gifts be made to Physicians Choice Hospice, 2221 E. Skelly Drive, Tulsa, OK 74105 in memory of Mary “Marie” Shaffner.
