She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Burl D. “PeeWee” Blakemore; brother, Joe Warren Wright Jr.; and sister, Shirley Ann (McDonald) Clayton.
She is survived by son, Scott Allen Blakemore, Tulsa, OK; and brother, Bob Leon Wright of Oklahoma City, OK. Maxine is also survived by many family and numerous friends. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in 1988 after 41 years.

Ruby “Maxine” Blakemore passed away March 19, 2016. She was born September 28, 1928 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
