Melba Kathleen “Kathy” Girard, 64, passed away on October 27, 2013 while surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born on December 4, 1948 in St. Louis, MO and was adopted by her parents, Melvin Richard and Margaret Louise (Crossman) Moore.
Kathy’s life revolved around her grandchildren, always making sure to attend any sporting event or school activities. She enjoyed shopping, taking the girls to get their nails done, dancing, coaching cheer, and she was very proud of her koi pond. Kathy loved her family and always made sure on ‘your’ special day, that she prepared your favorite food. Kathy would do anything for her family and she made absolutely sure that she took care of her love, Roy.
Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Eugene “Roy” Girard; son, Brian Girard (Karla), Nikki Johnson (Paul); grandchildren, Cody and Alexandria Johnson, Blake Girard, Makealey Johnson, Brandon Girard, Shane Johnson and Kendyl Girard.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Choctaw United Methodist Church. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
