Melissa Moore

Melissa Eloene Evans-Moore was born on November 6, 1921 in Sentinel, OK to William Wright Evans and Ruby Oneta Williams-Evans. She had one sister, Maude Clementine, and two brothers, Vernon and John Evans. On July 1, 1939, she married, the love of her life Armon Jay "Jack" Moore.While living with Jack in Hollywood, FL Melissa obtained her Realtors license and sold real estate for sometime. Jack passed on February 6, 1985 and Melissa then returned to Oklahoma. During their marriage they had two children, Jimmy Ray and Jerry Lynn.

GrandmaEne was a talented artist with so much creativity, spirit and spunk. She left an impression on everyone that she met. If you needed something she would do her level best to make it happen. She was a Mother and Grandmother to many with a heart of gold...which might have been why she liked the color gold so much. She loved to tell stories of her family, her travels and her Jack. She also loved to share her thrift store "treasures"!

She is proceeded in death by her son Jerry Lynn, grandson Jimmy William and great-grandson Arec James.

Melissa is survived in death by one son, Jimmy and wife Sharon, daughter in law Sheryl Moore-Lord, five Grandchildren, Stacie Moore-Hood, Tracy Moore, Mark Moore, Cindy Moore-Owens and James Moore; 9 Great-Grandchildren, Cody Vandiver, Justin Vandiver, Ian Moore, Ty Owens, Zack Owens, Riley Owens, Andrea Moore-Miller, James "Jamey" Moore and Colton Moore; several Great-Great Grandchildren, many more family members and friends.
