What can I say about Mike? Mike was as close to me as my own brothers. We have known each other since we were teanagers.. Mike was the most honest and loyal man I have ever known. To people that only knew Mike professionally he was very tuff inside and out.To those of us who took the time to know him he was a very caring and fun loving man. He loved his family and friends without reservations. Above all he loved his daughters,Erin and Leslie. I never thought I would see him as proud as when they were born. Later in his life I saw that same look three times on his face with the birth of his grandsons Aiden, Madden and Quinton. 
There is a short list of people I would trust the lives of my family with. Mike was at the top of that list. I will miss you very much Mike. I know you and I will meet again.

Mike was a friend to all. I was saddened to hear of his unexpected passing. I worked with him for about 13 years on the canal. It was a pleasure to work with him as well as going to lunch with. He loved his family and co-workers.

I've gotten to know Mike over the years as we have worked alongside each other on the Bricktown Canal, and was saddened to hear of his passing. I've had many an enjoyable conversation with Mike, and have always appreciated his sense of humor. I'm also grateful for the help he has given us over the years. I will miss our chats and will also miss seeing him tooling up and down the canal in his golf cart. Our thoughts and condolences are with his friends and family, from his friends at Water Taxi.

I have a memorable vision that has been replaying in my mind, clearly I'm old enough to remember it, all the nephews were throwing around a football in grandmas backyard chris had the football and tossed it over grandmas house and it landed on uncle mikes car sounding the alarm, and we all said that it was chris that did it. cant really remember the outcome of it but it was funny to me. never really told my uncle mike that I loved him. but im pretty sure he knew it. love u uncle mike.

Mike was a good man , a great father and no doubt a great grandpa he will be missed and my heart goes out to Erin and Leslie God bless and prayers to the family

I worked with Mike at the City for about 4 years, I enjoyed his sense of humor and his knowledge for anything mechanical, he knew something about everything and could literally repair anything. We ate lunch together almost everyday while we worked together, it was then he would talk about life and his girls who he loved more than anything. Although we have not talked for several months I feel I have lost a good friend. He will be missed!

I have so many memories of Mike.  His beautiful daughter Erin was my best friend all growing up, like a sister.  What I remember the most is how a big bear of a man would melt when it came to his baby girls.  I know he must have felt the same about his beautiful grandbaby boys. My thoughts love and prayers for comfort are with Erin, Tom and Madden.  And with Leslie and her family.

I remember having Thanksgiving at Uncle Mike's when we were kids (some of the grandchildren weren't born yet and won't remember it). The kids were at a table in the garage, that was the last time any of the parents made that mistake and didn't supervise us again. Someone, not sure who came up with it think it was a group decision, decide that it would be fun to have a food fight with Thanksgiving dinner. I still don't know how Uncle Mike didn't beat any of us that day. Don't think we ever had Thanksgiving at his house again. Will definitely miss Uncle Mike and hope that he has eternal peace in heaven.
