She was a graduate of New Model School and Eufaula Boarding School. Minnie was a homemaker, and loving wife of 55 years she loved her family very much. She enjoyed doing puzzles, bead work in her spare time, taking summer family vacations, traveling, listening to traditional songs, long hour talks with her sisters, and playing games, especially with her grandchildren.
Christmas and Thanksgiving were her favorite holidays. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Her greatest accomplishments was being a loving wife and mother to her (7) seven children. She was known for making great tasting sofkey, pies and fried pies. She was also a member of the Middle Creek #2 Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Gouge; parents, George Frank and Molly Harjo. Grandchildren; Ivan Gouge Casio and Melinda Gouge. Sisters, Virginia and Sissy Frank; and Brothers, John, David and Spencer Frank.
She is survived by her children; Leonard Gouge and wife Johnna; Tresa Gouge; David Gouge and wife Syreeta; Wilson Gouge and his wife Tami; Doreen Gouge Casio and her husband Alex Casio, Alicia Gouge, Dwayne Gouge and wife Cindy. Her sisters, Lydia McHenry and husband Ted McHenry; Lula Woods; Nora Lee Thompson and husband George Thompson; and numerous Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
