Norma Shockley Shockley-Ellet

Norma made her journey to heaven on November 14, 2015 at the age of 85. She was born in Lexington, Oklahoma on December 2, 1929 to Bessie Hollenbeck Shockley (Mathis) and Joy Earl Shockley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Otis, Billie Ray, and Kenneth Shockley; her sister Dorothy Shockley; son Curtis Ellet and grandson Cody Lewis; her husband Lee Ellet and long-time companion Jim Slieger. Norma is survived by her siblings Lela Fowler, Lonnie Shockley and wife Olean, Delma Hancock, Mary Sue Shockley and companion Lil Runnels, Delores Ginther and husband Robert. She is also survived by her son Parker Tyner and wife Candy, son Paul Grant Tyner and wife Debra; daughter Sharon Tyner and companion Charles Shamblin; granddaughter Kelly Rickitt and husband Ronnie; grandsons Brian Tyner and wife Judy, Kevin Tyner and wife Melissa, Rick Bradford and wife Marjorie, Josh Lewis and wife Stacy, Paul Tyner Jr. and partner Dino, Joe Tyner and wife Jennifer, Leon Russell and wife Ralonda, Matt Russell and wife Glenna. Also, 21 great grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was extremely family oriented, enjoying summers spent with her grandsons as well as camping, fishing, and gardening. She always looked forward to her sister weekend getaways and various family gatherings. Those that knew her always knew that her family was the center of her world. She was known for a smile that would light any room.
