Robert Lemon, age 84 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on February 25, 2013. Robert was born February 1, 1929 in Alexandria, Indiana to Glen A. Lemon and Mamie E. Lankford. He had been a long time member of Del City Church of Christ. He worked for General Motors for 30 years and retired in 1992. He enjoyed camping, fishing, toying with cars and all types of mechanical engines. Robert was known as the “go to guy”. He is survived by his wife Betty Lemon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter Mitzi Russell of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandson Colin Russell of Midwest City, Oklahoma; sister Linda Lawson of Alexandria, Indiana and brother Donald Lemon of Anderson, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Gene Lemon and one sister Eileen Scott. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 28, 2013 at the Del City Church of Christ in Del City, Oklahoma with interment at Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson, Indiana on Saturday March 2, 2013.
