Reverend Robert Daniel Murray

Reverend Robert Murray, 82, passed away January 19, 2011. Robert was born in Stephens Co, Township Wall, Oklahoma February 8, 1928 to James Roy and Pearl Eva (Miller) Murray. He married the love of his life Evelyn and they enjoyed 60 years together. He raised Bannen chickens and would judge the shows. He Loved being with his family. He was a preacher at heart, he would go around the neighborhood evangelizing, calling, holding services at nursing homes and was the Pastor of Sharon Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife: Evelyn; sons: Robert Murray, Kenny Murray and wife Rita; daughters: Donna Morgan and husband David, Becky Hopkins and husband Johnny; grandchildren: Johhny Hopkins, Jr., Stacie Morgan, Jennifer Morrison, Felicia Murray, Kimberly Osceola; great grandchildren: Ashley, Katelyn, Makayla, Hannah, Shawn, Trent, Skyler, Noah, Tenley; step great grandchildren: Clint, Clay. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 24, 2011 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
