Ryan Scott Covert, Sr., 48, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, dad, and friend, Ryan was the heart of his home, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born on November 23, 1976, Ryan lived a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. He was a proud and dedicated dad to four wonderful children: Hannah Covert (20), Zoey Covert (9), Madison Covert (8), and Ryan Covert, Jr. (8). He shared a deep and unshakable bond with his wife and best friend, Brittney Covert, with whom he built a life full of memories, joy, and unwavering love.
Ryan found happiness in the everyday moments—whether it was going to the movies, playing sports with his kids, or enjoying outdoor adventures with his family. He was passionate about spending quality time with those he loved most. A true Sooner fan, he rarely missed a chance to cheer on OU sports.
Professionally, Ryan took great pride in his work as a building technician. He was hardworking, reliable, and deeply respected by his coworkers for both his skill and his generous spirit.
To honor his life, a Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, where family and friends gathered to share memories, laughter, and tears in remembrance of the amazing man Ryan was.
Ryan’s legacy lives on through his family and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and heart. Though gone too soon, his love will forever remain a guiding light.
