Saundra B. Walls

Saundra Bae Walls, 56, of Spencer, Oklahoma departed this life on February 24, 2024 after a courageous two year battle against cancer. Born in Reno, Nevada on December 31, 1968 to Douglas and Rayma Hanks. A mother of four, "Saucie" lived her life with ferocity and purpose.

Saucie married the love of her life, William, on September 4th, 1986 . First meeting while Saucie was on vacation, they were instantly drawn together. They wrote one another often, deepening their love, until she would be whisked away and married. Saucie and William were each others rock and always each others best friend.

Saucie leaves behind her husband, William Walls I, son William Walls II of Oklahoma City, daughters Christal Walls of Spencer, Chelsea Walls of Spencer, and Jessica Walls of Oklahoma City, Grandson Hunter Hopkins, Son-in-laws Dustin Kuntz, Bryant Hopkins, and Kori Yeatts, as well as countless friends and family of whose lives were touched by her.

Saucie was preceded in death by her father Douglas Allan Hanks, mother Rama Jean Hanks.

Saucie had a trademark sense of humor, was know for her witty commentary, and enjoyed her time by spending it around her family. She had a story for every occasion that would usually leave her listeners in stitches. The light she brought to those around her will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Saundra will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Free Methodist Church, 6500 E Reno Ave, Midwest City, OK 73110.
