Sharon Elizabeth Warfel

Sharon Elizabeth Warfel passed away on February 3, 2021. She was born in Newark, Ohio on October 27, 1958 to Paul and Ann (Cline) Henderson. She grew up in Newark and attended Newark Catholic School. In 1975, she met Mike Warfel, and they fell in love. They were joined at the hip, and on their first date they played air hockey, and Sharon won, which showed Mike how outgoing and fun she was. They got married on August 20, 1977. They stayed in Newark for three years, and then decided to move to Oklahoma. They both found jobs immediately, and together they had two children. Sharon stayed very busy, as she would work two jobs while also being a mom. Mike opened his own body shop, Warfel Body Shop, in 1983. Sharon was never afraid to help out and worked hard.

Sharon enjoyed shopping, cooking, and baking, but her greatest passion was her family. She loved to take care of them and spend time with them, and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter-in-law. She will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Carol Sue Henderson. She is survived by her husband, Mike; two children, daughter, Brandie Holmes (husband Pride), and son Mitchell Warfel (wife Heather); brother, Paul Henderson; sister, Ruth Ann Henderson; father in-law, Chuck Emmerling, and mother-in-law, Rose Emmerling; grandchildren, Landen and Levi Holmes, and Brayden, Colton, and Kendall Warfel; and many other relatives and friends.
