Sherman leaves behind his great love, Rhonda Sherman-Scally; his stepchildren, Jason and wife Sara of Texas, Misty of Tennessee, and Ashley and husband Josh of Oklahoma; daughter, Shannon; brother, Victor Steves of New York; cousin, Thomas and wife of Oklahoma; and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents and stepparent, Dennis Scally, Helen, and Harold Balfour; sister, Diana Baldwin; and brother, Joe Cook.
Sherman had many passions in life. He was a very active roller skater as a child and teen. He loved riding motorcycles until he was physically unable to anymore. He loved baseball and even coached a softball team in Norman, Oklahoma, in the 80s. He loved football, especially the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys.
He had a few careers in his lifetime. He started out in a traveling carnival. He worked for Gilt Edge Dairy and the City of Norman. He ended up at API in Oklahoma City, where he spent 28 years of his life until his passing. He loved his job and was a model employee.
Sherman was a lover. He always shared his heart with the people he was closest to. He was a caring man and would have given the shirt off his back to make sure everyone was taken care of in his life. He will be greatly missed and loved from all that he leaves behind.
Funeral services to be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 2pm at Bill Eisenhour at Sunny Lane at 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK.
