Tom Dahl Myers

Jim married the love of his life Shirley Carolyn Bewley on June 07, 1952. Jim worked at Townley's Dairy from 1954-67. In 1955 he purchased an old country grocery store located on corner of S.E. 104th and Hiwassee Rd. in rural Oklahoma City where Jim and his family lived & operated as Myers Grocery until 1989; while also working at Guy H. James Ind. until he retired in 1998.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Raymond Myers, Doyle Eugene Myers, Virgil Leon Myers, Edd Dale Myers; and one sister, Marjorie Lou Gore. He is survived by his wife loving wife of 62 years, Shirley, four children Tommy Myers & wife, Diane of Choctaw, OK., Michael Myers of Oklahoma City, OK., Lenita Yates & husband, Richard of Oklahoma City, OK., Deborah Taylor & husband, Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Services to celebrate Jim’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th St. Del. City, OK with interment at Schwartz Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
