Verdell P. Parker was born March 26, 1946 in Oklahoma County. Verdell attended and graduated from Dunjee high school where she excelled in home economics 1963. She accepted Jesus as personal Lord and Savior at an early age. Verdell loved and cherished her Brother. June 3,1965 she united into marriage. 4 children were born. Verdell loved and cherished all 5 of her grandchildren, daughter- in love, sister- in love.
Mama-"Verdell"- "vert" all these names carried much weight. She was an amazing home maker, she was a successful and accomplished pianist to the point she played for church choirs, wedding, & reunions. She was a successful seamstress for Well known retail stores, John A.Brown and Dillard's alterations department. Verdell Parker dedicated 30 years in the Okla.City public schools system where she retired. Verdell leaves to cherish her memories (1) Brother, (2) daughters) (1) Son (1) Daughter- in Love, (1) Sister- in Love, (5) Grandchildren and a host of many family & friends.
