He was born on November 15, 1943 in Carnegie, OK to Reuben and Leona (Perkins) Clayton.
He was reunited in heaven by his parents; Reuben and Leona Clayton, his loving wife, Roberta Jean Clayton of 46 years; step-son, Michael Klingman; siblings, Reuben Clayton, Mary Pierce, Donnie Clayton and Virgie Talbott. Survivors include his step-daughter, Sandra Windsor and husband, Johnnie; sister, Carolyn Farmer; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; his beloved wiener dog, Savannah; and a host of relatives and friends.
Wiley proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He later worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Services. Described as a man with impeccable integrity and character. He enjoyed building and restoring classic cars and water skiing. He was a hardworking man whose greatest joys came from the simple pleasures in life. For over 18 years, he was the primary caregiver for his beloved wife. His love for his family and Jesus was evident in everything he did. He will be truly missed.
