Evina Migues Duhon

DELCAMBRE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Evina Migues Duhon, age 52, at 11:00 am Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Herb Bennerfield officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Wednesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday and remain open until service time.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Duhon passed away at 11:45 am on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at her residence.

Evina was very close to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, solving crossword puzzles and spending time outdoors.

She is survived by her husband Timmy Duhon of Delcambre; daughters, Mysti Migues of Delcambre, Dusti Duhon and fiancé Jimmy of Erath, Timi Jo Duhon of Delcambre, Alex Duhon of Delcambre; brother, Huey Migues, Jr. of Delcambre; sisters, Debra Nichols and fiancé Kerry Henderson of Erath, Hedy Pemberton and husband Harry of Erath, Sherry Broussard and husband James of Delcabmre, Rita LeBlanc and husband Keith of Lydia, Berta Adams and husband Kenny Adams, Sr. of New Iberia, Theresa Simon and husband Kenny of Coteau; grandchildren, Blade Dupey, Emma Rawlins and Alaya Marceaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Huey Migues, Sr. and Nell Lancon Migues; father-in-law, Ivy Duhon and brother-in-law, Javis Duhon.

Pallbearers will be Cade Broussard, Chad Broussard, Coty Broussard, Jimmy Rawling, Elvis Bourque, Kenny Adams, Jr., Stan Aucoin, Jr. and Chris Marceaux, Jr.
