Inez Bourque Boudoin

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Ronald Joseph Boudoin, the former Inez Bourque, age 74, at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Readers for the Mass will be Glenn Delahoussaye and Kimberly Bourque Smith and Amanda Durke, Catherine Clay, Brylee Boudoin, Shelby Hebert and Sydni Hebert will serve as gift bearers. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm on Friday until service time on Saturday. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday by Joanna Durke and Libby Sanford.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Boudoin passed away at 9:35 pm on, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mrs. Boudoin enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and playing solitaire. She loved cooking and preparing meals for her family on Sunday. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Joseph Boudoin of Lake Peigneur; two daughters, Penny Clay and husband Patrick of Fort Worth, TX and Donna Hebert and husband Chad of Lake Peigneur; four sons, David “Spike” Boudoin and wife Pamela of New Iberia; Derck Boudoin and wife Linda of Lake Peigneur; Daniel “Dino” Boudoin and wife Maggie and Danny Boudoin and companion Tammy Graves all of Erath; thirteen grandchildren; Brody Boudoin, Brylee Boudoin, Cheyanne Camille, Amber Boudoin, Karey Robin, Hollie Boudoin, Joshua Boudoin, Shawn Boudoin, Kimberly Boudoin, Cole Clay, Catherine Clay, Shelby Hebert and Sydni Hebert; five great grandchildren, Madison Hargrave, Jacob Hargrave, Kaylee Boudoin, Avery Robin and Aubrey Robin; two sisters, Eunice Derouen and husband Glen of Coteau and Jean Saunders of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Jeffrey Bourque and Connie of Eunice and Joseph “Black” Bourque and wife Jean of Coteau; three godchildren, Roxanne Lavergne, Earlene Waits Cheek and Brenda LeBlanc and longtime and special friends, Joanna and Amanda Durke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Rena Touchet Bourque and two brothers, Dudley Bourque and Felix Bourque.

Pallbearers will be David “Spike” Boudoin, Derck Boudoin, Daniel “Dino” Boudoin, Danny Boudoin, Patrick Clay, Chad Hebert, Brody Boudoin and Cole Clay. Robert “R.S.” Stambulie will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
