Kenneth Paul Hebert

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Kenneth Paul Hebert, age 59, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 8:30 am until 1:45 pm with a rosary being recited at 11:00 am.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mr. Hebert passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 in Erath.

Born on May 28, 1958 to the late Otto Hebert and Susie L. Hebert, Kenneth was one of five children. He was avid sports fan who enjoyed watching any and all sporting events, especially if UL was playing. Kenneth loved going out to eat with his wife and family. He liked trying out new restaurants as often as possible. Kenneth was a family man and loved spending time with family and friends. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend he will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Effie Girouard Hebert; children, Jeremy Hebert and wife Kiesha of St. Paul, Mn, Joel Hebert of Delcambre, and Monique Hebert of Delcambre; brother, Garland Hebert and wife Kathy of Delcambre; sisters, Janet DuBois and husband Trois of Delcambre, Nella Efferson of Erath, and Charlotte Miller and husband Ned of Spokane, WA; and grandchildren, Thea Hebert, Karson Barras, and Ambri Barras.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto Hebert and Susie L. Hebert.
