The news of  Brian's passing left me saddened, shocked, and stunned. Those feelings were followed shortly thereafter by the wonderfully fond memories I have of Brian and his family. If life is about stories,  Brian is about life. While there are simply too many to recount I will forever remember leaving the NY State regents exam early (like halfway through) to go watch / bet jai alai in Bridgeport, Connecticut. May have cost me a Regents scholarship!
My deepest condolences go out to Brian's wife and son, Stanley, Dinah, Michael, Richard, Caren, and Gary. May Brian's kind, beautiful spirit give you peace and comfort now and in the future.

You were my second family and the memories of Brian that flood my mind and heart are too many to mention. Brian was a great,loyal friend with a fantastic sense of humor. We played golf for many years every Saturday and Sunday morning with Michael Mainthow and Ed Pavelle. No matter what you did the night before you had to show up for the game. Those were wonderful times never to be forgotten.  The Pauls are a wonderful family and I am so sorry for their loss - for our loss too.  I will play a few holes late tomorrow and say a prayer to and for Brian before the first shot.  I will ask him if he can influence my shots from Heaven or am I still stuck with the same old hideous assortment?  Love to you all and Bradley you and I will catch up and talk about your dad.
