Gary was born to Sylvia and Adrian Travin in the Bronx, New York on July 18, 1948.
He graduated from Taft High School in 1966 and Lehman College.
He was a Proud Public School Teacher and taught for over 40 years in the Yonkers Public School System.
In 2007 he moved with his wife Carol to Valencia Palms where he lived a wonderful life with the many friends he made.
Gary leaves behind his wife, Carol, children David (Alonna), Erika Travin and sister Fern (Ben Glasser). He also leaves behind two grandchildren who he adored Alex and Serena Travin and many friends.
Gary will be deeply missed.
