Jack Lewis Kurtzer, 91, of Delray Beach, passed away peacefully on December 14th. Born in the Bronx, he was a Sonarman in the Navy during WWII aboard the USS Rogers. Jack graduated from Penn with a degree in Journalism. He managed furniture stores in Philadelphia and Palm Beach. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley, whom he was happily married to for over 55 years. Jack is survived by his brother Robert (Dolores), daughters Caryl (Bart Block and children Amy and Jeremy) and Jill (Peter Ritter and sons Drew and Henry), and sons Peter (Nada and son Nate) and Todd (Traci and daughters Scout and Zoe). Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, at 11:30 a.m. at Riverside_Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 7205 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33446. A burial will follow the service at the S. Florida National Cemetery, with an Honor Guard, at 6501 N. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. He will be deeply missed and will live on forever in our hearts.
