Dearest Ami and Michelle...
Although it was only a short time that I had the privilege of knowing Jean, she made a tremendous impact on the lives of me, my mom and my dad, she was family to us and we will always remember her for her beautiful spirit, kindness and generosity of soul! She was the mother-in-law I never had and I’m forever grateful that I had those moments with her! I still have the videos I took of you and Jean dancing at halftime of the Super Bowl and will always smile when I’m able to watch them! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to see her the last time I was visiting and was hoping to see her on my next trip down. Apparently G-d and your father had other plans!😘❤️...please know I’m here for you; always! Forever grateful...David

Dear Michelle, Jon, and Ami, 
I was so sorry to hear from Jon the sad news about your mother. I really appreciate  his thoughtful call to let me know.  As you may remember your parents and mine met on a cruise in the 70's I think, and became immediate, close and lifelong friends.  I can remember your parents coming up to visit us at my parents' country place north of Montreal and the jokes, laughter, stories and just warm camaraderie flowed.  There was a special chemistry between the four of them that was incredible to see.  My parents, Bertha and Sydney,  and yours continued to see each other in Florida each winter throughout their lives.  Over the last few years my husband Miguel and I travelled to Hollywood, and always called and got together with your mother. Unfortunately we couldn't do it this past winter.  I  have my own special memories of the time I spent with your parents.  They were wonderful people.  My sincere condolences to you and your families.  Frema Engel 

Such a beautiful and smart woman. You always had such a warm smile. You were so easy to talk to and reminded me of my grandmother so much. You will be missed.

A great woman, a wonderful friend, and a very kind and caring neighbor.  I will miss her.  

Aunt Jeannie would babysit me from time to time at her office which was in Uncle Shep’s building. Anyway when I was six years old I got really upset because I wanted to go to Wild West City and nobody could take me because everyone was working. So one day when my dad dropped me off Jeannie had gotten us cowboy hats, gunbelts and toy pistols and we played cowboys all day. Shep got mad when I tried to arrest him but Jeannie promised to visit him in jail so he became okay with it. (Hey, I was only six, what did I know?) We lost touch for years but reconnected 6 years ago and I’m very happy we did. I love you Jeannie and I’ll miss you.
