On Friday, January 10th, 2014, Chanel Renee Bolen, age 25, went to heaven to be with her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was born in Denison, Texas on July 19th, 1988, to parents Joe Lee and Denise Elizabeth Lee Bolen. Chanel graduated from Denison High School in 2006 with honors. She also graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in December of 2013 with a degree in Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Physical Education. Chanel was employed at North Texas Children’s Dentistry in Gainesville, Texas and Logan’s Roadhouse Restaurant of Sherman, Texas. She completed her student teaching requirements at Pottsboro Elementary School.
She is survived by: her parents, her sister Tiffany Diane Bolen and partner Jimi Drosche, her brothers Mark Sergey Bolen and Timothy Alexander Bolen, and sisters Jessica Lee Bolen and Mary Elizabeth Bolen. Chanel’s grandparents are Bobby Ray Bolen and Mary Ann Nichols, uncle Barry Dale Bolen and Sherry Kelton, aunt Karen Loretta Boddy and husband Todd Boddy of Princeton, Texas, uncle Gregory Darrell Hendrix and wife Nancy Hendrix of Omaha, Nebraska, nephews Jordan Marsoux Marrow and Jager Bates Drosche, and neice Jameson Cate Drosche. Proceeded in death by grandparents Edgar Lee and Mildred Carlene Hendrix, grandparent Mary Jo Bolen, and niece Hudsyn Dee Drosche.
Chanel’s life is being celebrated with two memorial services: Tuesday, January 14th, 2014, at Parkside Baptist Church, 301 North Lillis Lane, Denison, at 10:30 A.M., and on Wednesday, January 15th, 2014, at Waterloo Lake in Denison at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers her family has requested donations be made to the Music Ministry at Parkside Baptist Church in her memory. The life of our daughter Chanel has and will continue to reach out to change and save the lives of many people.
She brings great joy and laughter with her beautiful smile. She has a servant’s heart and a wonderful love to teach the “lambs” for His glory. Thank you to all who invested in her life making her into the beautiful woman she has become. May her life be a pleasing, fragrant offering to the LORD.
