Floyd Franklin Simpson

Graveside service for Floyd will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 20, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 Hwy 91 North, Denison, TX 75020 with Pastor Ford officiating. There will be full military honors.

Floyd was born on May 5, 1928 in Honey Grove, TX, the son of Perry Franklin and Myrtle Crutcher Simpson. He retired from the U.S. Nacy after 27 years of service as a Senior Chief Gunners Mate in 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Louise Simpson, maiden name Hughey; daughters, Rebecca, Sherrel, Vivian and Debra; sons, Bruce and Floyd; sister, Marie Stonecipher; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, with one more on the way. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Crutcher and father, Perry Franklin Simpson.
