Harold Ray Wagoner

Harold Ray Wagoner,77, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Sherman, Texas. He was born March 20, 1941 to Clarence and Georgia (Hogue) Wagoner in Coalgate, Oklahoma. On September 28, 1962 he married Sandra Brown in Sherman, Texas.

Harold enjoyed gardening, fishing, morning coffee with friends in Sherman, attending church and spending time with his great-grandchildren, especially Brynon and Preston. Harold was a member of Pecan Grove Church of Sherman for 39 years. He was employed by Kaiser Aluminum for many years and self-employed in construction. He enjoyed transporting dealer trades for local dealerships for the last several years.

Survivors include his wife Sandra; son, Harold D, Wagoner; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Wagoner; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Wagoner of Denison, Meagan Thomas of Denison and 5 great-grandchildren, Brynon and Preston Wagoner of Denison, Emmalyn, Maddox and Lincoln Thomas of Denison; sister-in-law Minnie Wagoner of Colbert, Oklahoma, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson Gabriel; 3 brothers, Billy, Floyd and David Wagoner; 3 sisters, Christine Smith, Sybil Lay and Betty Trunzler.

A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a. m., Friday, July 20, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel, Denison, Texas with Harold Wagoner and Chip Staggs officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harold Wagoner, Taylor Wagoner, Ted Brown, Jimmy Grant, Stan Miles, Jr., Chip Staggs and David Bowden. Honorary pallbearers will be Brynon Wagoner and Preston Wagoner.
