Jan Pugh, age 83, of Denison, Texas passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2018. Jan was born November 13, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was raised by her Aunt Vera Watkins and Uncle Arnie Watkins of Salina, Kansas. She married Robert Pugh on April 25, 1953 in Salina, Kansas.
Jan was an active member of the Waples United Methodist Church and her beloved Texoma Emmaus Community. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and she loved to decorate for every holiday. Her home was always warm and inviting.
Jan is survived by her sons: Robert Pugh and wife Sheryl of Norman, Oklahoma; James Randal (Randy) Pugh and wife Kathy of Park City, Kansas; and Richard (Rick) Pugh and wife Cathy of Tom Bean, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-granchildren; her sister-in-law Marilyn (Mim) Hiesterman and her husband Keith, of Wichita, Kansas.
Jan was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Pugh, aunt Vera Watkins and uncle Arny Watkins of Salina, Kansas.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Waples Memorial United Methodist Church, Denison, Texas with Pastor Donny Haywood to officiate.
