

Margaret was born June 18, 1947 in Washington, DC. During her lifetime she became quite the world traveler and would live or visit most of Europe, India, and many different states. She loved meeting new people from all walks of life. Most of all she cherished being a wife and mother. She would often list her occupation as homemaker even through her retirement years. She was devoted to making her family’s home filled with love and comfort for all family and friends who entered. Amongst her favorite hobbies were interior decorating, watching DIY shows, shopping, crafting, reading and most of all giving to others. Her passion in life was that of animal rights activist. Margaret loved all animals and made it her mission to assist many animal non-profit organizations or rescue lost/injured animals throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parent, Almyra and Hugh Fincher. She is survived by her husband, Dennis, her son Michael of Dallas, daughter Christine and her husband Paul Lacy of Arlington, TX, as well as two fur-babies JLo and Cookie. She is also survived by her brother Dale Fincher of Southside, AL and many, many other family and close friends that will miss her immensely.
Funeral will be held at Heritage Funeral Home at Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane, Washington on Thursday, December 8, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating in her name to one of her favorite charities such as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, World Wildlife Fund or Habitat for Humanity.
