Visitation will be at Bratcher Funeral Home on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 12, 2014 at Oakridge Baptist Church with Brother Sam Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
Merle was born on Wednesday, June 20, 1934 in Baxter Springs, Kansas, the son of Lonnie E. Winters and Irene Bunch Winters. He was a drilling superintendent/consultant for an oil company.
He is survived by wife Shirley; daughters Teri Winters & husband Brian Farrier and Debra Vick; grandchildren Todd Thompson and Cory Vick; great grandchildren Kyle Thompson, Jared Thompson and Kayleigh Vick.
