

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with full military honors including a 21 gun salute at Fairview Cemetery in Denison. Bishop Rodriguez of Sherman will also be officiating.
He is survived by his beloved family; stepdaughter and stepson, Kaye Seabaugh Acree of Windom, Texas and Charles Seabaugh of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren: Diana Acree Sanders of Whitesboro, Tina Acree Ramey of Colbert, Okla., Wendy Acree Ferguson of Denison, Dana Acree Morrow of Denison, Donovan Acree of Dallas; two great grandchildren: Linsie Ferguson of Plano, Texas and Trevor Acree, student at Southeastern, Durant, Okla.
His grandchild, Mark C. Acree preceded him in death.
Robert Erickson was retired from the USAF. He was inducted into the Air Force in 1944 and retired at Perrin Field, Grayson County, Texas in 1969 after completing three tours of duty. For his last tour of duty he was shipped from Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota to Keflavik, Iceland.
After retiring at Perrin Field, he brought his father from Milwaukee to Denison, where they shared a “bachelor pad” at the old Denison Hotel. Mr. Erickson earned an Associated of Applied Science degree at Grayson County College in 1977.
He then also retired from Texoma Medical Center Environmental Services.
Mr. Erickson survived his wife, “Nita” by six years. He spent 6 years in the home of his beloved granddaughter Wendy Ferguson before residing at Clyde Cosper in Bonham for the last 6 months.
“Papa” (as he was known by his family) was the best and sweetest of spirits mankind has to offer. A truly kind, gentle, and loving man” declare his family and friends.
