Anthony (Tony) Nicholas Willis-Tozier left this world on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the age of 28 at home in Denver, Colorado. Anthony was born in Pasadena, California in March of 1998 at St. Luke’s Hospital to Pam Willis-Tozier and Tom Tozier. His legacy remains with us in his music, stories and art. His dark wit often caught you by surprise and created much laughter for those who knew him.
When Anthony was 6 years old, the family moved from Pasadena to Santa Cruz, California, living a block from the ocean which he loved. Four years later the family moved to Longmont, Colorado. At the age of 10 he got his first guitar, and his love of music grew from there. He also played the cello in both middle and high school Orchestras. Anthony graduated from Silver Creek High School in Longmont with Honors.
Anthony’s love of the arts drove him to expand his vision with story writing, drawing and photography. He developed a love of film and movie making and enrolled at the Colorado Film School in Aurora, majoring in Cinematography. His knowledge of the history of Cinema fascinated his fellow students. Unfortunately, COVID interrupted his studies. His spark showed in his music, his art, his sense of humor and his sense of fairness. He is missed dearly.
Anthony is survived by both parents, siblings David and Jessica in Colorado Springs and Sean in Idaho. He is predeceased by sibling John from Idaho, his Tozier grandparents and his Willis grandfather.
The love you have for your child is not severed but rather your relationship continues in a different context, for it’s not how they died, but how they LIVED.
There are no words when you lose a child and even fewer when it is to suicide. We have set up this fund in the hope that donations here will save at least one life.
In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention here: https://supporting.afsp.org/campaign/Anthony-Willis-Tozier
