Barbara Otelia Wilson

Barbara was raised and educated in Spanish town parcel of Jamaica, until she met her late husband Sgt. Walter S. Wilson Sr.

On July 3rd, 1954 Barbara married the love of her life, Walter S. Wilson Sr. in Kingston Jamaica. They remained married until Walter's untimely death on November 18th, 1979.

Out of that union four children were born. Gail Elizabeth Wilson October 5th, 1957, Walter S. Wilson Jr, September 22nd, 1958, Margaret Rose Wilson, October 13th, 1959 and Marie Elaine Wilson March 24th, 1969. All of Denver Colorado.

Barbara was a dietitian for St. Joseph Hospital and sky chef until she retired in 1994.

Barbara was known as the sweet Jamaican lady who loved to play the lottery, her fun loving spirit and giving heart.

Barbara passed away on October 2nd, 2017. She Lives on through her children Gail, Walter, Margaret, and Marie her grandsons Taurean, Semaj, and Christopher, her granddaughter Kiah ,and great grandchildren Lilliana , Danté, and Elijah and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous of friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Edna Johnston, Father, Hubert Schaffer, husband, Walter S. Wilson Sr, sister Vinette Hall, brother Winston Hall, and niece Rosalee Lindo-Jones.

There are no words to express the way we feel. We will truly miss you and cherish the memories of our beautiful mother and grandmother Barbara O. Wilson.
