

Beverly Ann Coffman passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the age of 79 in Denver, Colorado following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 30, 1937 to Harry and Ilyene Smith.
Beverly graduated from South High School in Denver and later became a Manager at the Woolworth Company. She was incredibly hard working and devoted 22 years of service to the company. Beverly spent her life in Denver, where she met the love of her life, Melvin L. Coffman, whom she was married to for nearly 60 years. She was a woman of faith, a devoted and loving mother to her three children, and found an immense amount of joy in spending time with her six grandchildren. Beverly loved this beautiful state and was a fan of the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. Her hobbies included reading, Jeopardy, and enjoyed dinners with her family at the Country Dinner Playhouse.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Melvin Coffman, her three children, Mark (Lisa) Coffman, Michelle Coffman, and Scott (Leigh Previdi) Coffman, and her sisters Sherry Parker and Sandy (Jim) Danieley. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Christina Coffman, Audrey and Julian Metsala, and Lauren, Isabella, and Samantha Coffman. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19 at 10:00am at Olinger Hampden Mortuary in Denver. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Beverly will be laid to rest at Olinger Hampden Memorial Gardens the same day and a luncheon will follow.
