Frederic was born in Pennsylvania in 1933, and passed away peacefully on July 19th in Aurora, Colorado surrounded by his family. He was a military veteran, serving 28 years in the Army and was an avid volunteer focusing on assisting veterans.
Fred is preceded in death by his son Timothy James Filbert. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane of San Francisco, California; children, Frederic P. Filbert and his wife, Maya, and Joanna F. Vasquez; grandchildren, Connor Timothy and Matthew Francis.
Services for Fred will occur at 10:00 AM, 20 August. He will be laid to rest at Valley of The Temples Memorial Gardens in Kanehoe, Hawaii.
