She is preceded in death of her mother Vera Trujillo Baldwin and her father William Baldwin, her older
brother Jimmy and the love of her life her daughter Katy.
She is survived by her husband Patrick of Aurora.
She was born in Boseman, Montana and spent time in upper New York before the
family settled down in Aurora. Joann graduated from Hinkley HS in 1976 and then went
on to Metro State College where she achieved a bachelor's degree in business. She
was in the banking and mortgage business. She taught religious classes at her church.
Joann loved to read, golf, travel and to cook. She enjoyed book club, Bunko and dinner
club with her friends that did not judge her and supported her throughout her life. Jo was
a great supporter of Special Olympics and St Judes. In lieu of flowers a donation to
either organization is greatly appreciated. Joann's sense of humor and the ability to
light up a room whenever she enters will be greatly missed. The world has been a
better place having Joann in it even though such a short time. The three words to sum
up what Joann believed and felt. LIVE < LOVE and most importantly LAUGH!!!
