

Joel was known for his one-of-a-kind personality. He had a sharp wit and a quick sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. He was incredibly intelligent and always up for a good debate. Joel was the type of person who would argue with anyone about anything at any time, making every conversation entertaining.
In his free time, Joel loved spending time with his beloved dogs Yakone, Groot, and Nanook. They were his constant companions and brought him immense joy.
Joel will be deeply missed by his mother, Bonnie Granier; and maternal grandfather, Roy E Granier; Sisters, Kristine Berthelot and Garrett Guillot; nieces, Brylee Berthelot and Kyleigh Guillot; nephews, Jayden Erwin and Jordan Guillot; aunt, Shawn Tassin and husband Timmy; uncles, James Granier and wife Jill, Craig Granier and wife Vicky, and Aunt, Tasha Granier. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judy Faye Morales Granier.
Joel attended Brusly High School and later pursued higher education at the University of New Orleans. He was a lifelong learner, always seeking knowledge and expanding his horizons.
Joel’s departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever be cherished, and his vibrant spirit will continue to inspire us. May he rest in peace.
