Survived by too many, loved by all. Remembered for a life of originality in a fashion nobody could quite match with indifference for acceptance by anybody. John was a beautiful human with a love for human connection, chef-inspired homemade cuisine, nature, family, friends, and his dog Paisley who he loved above all. His laugh was one that echoes in your soul, reverberating smiles and memories upon those who were blessed enough to have him in their lives. John inspired free-thinking and a viewpoint of life that reminds you why we were put on this earth, to love all selflessly and be there for each other, just as he did. The lines were blurred between family, best-friend and confidant as he fulfilled all of these characteristics and so much more regardless of who you were. He always showed us there was more than one way of living and that to be free is to live your life spontaneously without care of judgement by others. The ordinary are easy to forget, to fade, but the originals like John are impossible to forget. John was cherished as a son, steadfast as a brother, a gentle-hearted cousin, beloved as a nephew, held close to the hearts of his grandmothers, and never wavering as a friend. We treasure our memories with John, and he reminds us to never be ashamed of who we are. He left his mark on us all and we yearn for the day he is back in our arms. Johns smile, beautiful laugh, and big heart will stay with us all for eternity, forever missed.
