Keith D. Meakins,90, was born in Sterling, Illinois on October 23, 1931, to Clare W. and Pauline Gorzny Meakins. He passed away on September 6, 2022 in Lakewood, Colorado.A 1949 graduate of Morrison High School, he attended Barnes Business College and the Colorado University in Boulder, Colorado. Graduating with a degree in business in 1959. He worked for Public Service of Colorado Company now Xcel Energy. He spent 28 years in the Navy, 4 years active and 24 in the Reserves, retiring with the rank of Lt. Commander.He is survived by wife Doris Hendrix Meakins and son Bruce K. Meakins of Denver, Colorado. Numerous cousins and friends.A graveside service for Keith will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S.
