Kristin Noelle Napoleon-Redus

Kristin was born in San Diego, CA at the Naval Hospital on 12/26/79.

The doctors were so busy that her Uncle Kevin Leary "delivered her."

'What a Gift"

When her Mom brought her home her big brother Franky was waiting at the door with tears, hugs, and kisses. Kristin's father Frank Napoleon Sr. was in the Army stationed in Germany, so her Aunts and Uncles helped take care of her and Franky, and their Mom. We moved to Grand Junction, Colorado when Kristin was 6 months old to make a new life. Together with family and special friends, June and Jim Schendel, we did just that.

As we moved from one big city to another we went through a lot of changes, and our family grew. By this time we welcomed her brother Shane Ralston and sister Abigayl Ralston, and lived in Aurora, Colorado. As a family we struggled, but we continued to move on. We met, now her Dad Tony Ploughe, and his son David Ploughe and fell in love. We became a Family in 1991 and we were busy, camping, fishing, and just travelling everywhere. She loved music, going to the movie house, and swimming.

As Kristin got her GED at 18 she worked many little jobs. Kristin made her life happen. She was stubborn, opinionated, and determined.

She Married Nathan Redus and was an instant family, as she became a mom to Ellaurah Grace Ashby. Kristin had two more girls, Isabelle Olivia Redus, and Lilya Snow Redus, and worked for ADT Security, and at times 2 more jobs to include the Pepsi Center, where she got to go to Concerts, and Avalanche Games, to make ends meet.

Kristin was a doting Mother and made sure the girls had the "World", along with being happy. She always dressed them up as "Princesses". Kristin's life was those girls. Although she struggled, her family was always there to help her with whatever she needed.

Kristin's Mom and Dad took her on many vacations with family, but her favorite vacation was "Niagara Fails".

Kristin worked for ADT Security for 19 years. She needed to make a difference, and always said she knew this was the job to do it. Kristin worked hard and moved up in the company where she was the Team Lead with many employees to teach and train. Her bosses Angela and Ada kept her busy in her job and she made many friends, like Chanda, Vanessa, Debbie, Dorothy and Tamara who will miss Kristin tremendously, as will everyone at ADT.

Kristin finally accomplished her dream to own a Home 2 years ago. Her and Alex Rabaa had been together for 4 years and decided to make a home for Isabelle and Lilya, and added "Jacky Boy" to their family. But her biggest accomplishment was that Isabelle graduated from High School this year.

Over the years Kristin went through many happy and sad times but always put her Home, Isabelle, Lilya, her Mom, and her family's needs before her own. She always worried about others first, never herself, until she quietly and unexpectedly passed away on September 24, 2019.

Over the years our family became bigger but, we stayed strong and kept a bond of love like no other family. We were always together as a family, and Colorado was her home.

Kristin's Brother Frank Napoleon Jr. married Kendra and had Kristin's first nephews "Irish Red Headed Twins Hunter and Mason Napoleon".

Her Sister Abigayl gave her, her third nephew "Cameron Glover" who could not pronounce Auntie so he named her "Anah." Kristin loved being "Auntie" and "Anah."

As her brother Shane Ralston gave her Conner Ralston, and has begun his family with Ivy Elsen and they have a new son of 6 months, Liam Ralston.
