

Maxine had three sisters, Reva, Jeannie, and Lavonne. Maxine graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado. Maxine was a Colorado native and loved spending time outdoors.
She was a Christian and she was a member of First Congregational Church in Denver. She worked several jobs throughout her life. She worked at a retail clothing store called May D&F. She liked to sell Tupperware to friends and family. She was a waitress at the original Elitch Gardens Trocoredola event place where they played big bands music and served food. She enjoyed this job a lot because they played her favorite big bands songs and everyone danced together. She loved listening to music and dancing with her best friend, Doris. She also liked helping other people and worked as a caregiver at Seniors Inc. She worked in a cafeteria as a cook for one year for Aurora Public Schools district.
Maxine is survived by her loving family that includes three children, Elaine, Joyce and Ralph. She has four granddaughters, Candice, Janean, Jessica and Katherine. She has seven great grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Brittany, Kallyna, Cod ie, Jared, and Trevor. She also has eight great-great grandchildren. Maxine loved spending time with her family.
She enjoyed being an Assistant Leader with Elaine and Linda for Camp Fire Boys and Girls Organization where they did fun activities with the children. She was very active and participated in several fun outdoor activities like camping, hiking and white water rafting with the children in the Camp Fire group. She also enjoyed gardening to grow fruits and vegetables and grew flowers also. Her favorite flowers were roses.
She was an active member with her Scarlet Plums Red Hats group of friends who did a lot of fun social activities and participated in outings together like plays and tea gatherings. She loved listening to Elvis Presley music and dancing. She enjoyed cooking, baking and making crafts. For the past few years Maxine enjoyed spending time with her friends and kind caregivers at the Lansing Assisted Living facility where she lived. We're grateful for the loving care all of her caregivers have provided to Maxine throughout the years.
Maxine is loved by everyone and is truly missed. We will hold all of our joyful and happy memories of Maxine close to our hearts forever until we meet again in our Heavenly home above.
