I was very young when we lost our mother, so to me Mil was more like a mother to me than a sister.  When I was going to Business School in Denver and living with Mil we had some good times and some bad times.  I knew all the rules and that I had better follow them.  When I didn't, I was sure told about it in no uncertain terms.  There was so many funny things that happened, I cant tell them all but I loved my sister with all my heart.  I used to tell her that I wanted her to will her hair to me because it was always so thick and pretty.  I still don't have it though Ha.  She looked so young and pretty in her final resting place.  I know she would have been happy about how she looked.  I love her so much and ,although I didn't get to see her much the last few years of her life, I will sure miss her but will see her again some day.

I remember Aunt Mill's delicious Spaghetti dinners, and to stay away on the days that she would wash the walls in her kitchen or she would put you to work.  She was the best Aunt ever. Love and Miss you Aunt Mill

When my family moved to Colorado, we lived down the street from my big sister, Mildred.  I had a very safe and happy feeling there because I could talk with her about everything and could always rely on her advice.  The kids and I would visit her almost every day.  I loved my sister very much.   I know that I will follow her in a year or two, so I can look forward to seeing her again soon.  I trust that she is in safe and happy place now.  All my children loved their Aunt Mil, and she will never be forgotten by us.

When I was young and living down the street from Aunt Mil, I spent as much time at her house as I did at mine.  She was a second mother to me and I know the world was a better place with her in it.
I haven't seen her in years but the love I have for her has never lessoned.
My condolences go out to Sharon and Ronnie and the rest of the family.

when i was a child, it used to annoy me for aunt mil to lecture me. she never "only" said something once. perhaps she knew me too well. now, today i wish i could have her tell me repeatedly, not to bring those wormy apples into the house. i love and miss you aunt mil. and i hope those of you who also love her will find something she did to brighten this dark time, as she is put to rest.

I have lovely memories of Aunt Mil, and things often happen in daily life that remind me of her and her influence on me and others.  Attached is a picture she sent out in her Christmas card in 1968.  This is the way I remember her best.  Love and sympathy to all my cousins in Colorado.

Millie was an amazing woman. We know y'all will miss her so much. God Bless.
