Nancy Louise Price

She was born to parents Harry F. Staatz and Grace Staatz, in WaKeeney, Kansas in September of 1932.

Nancy met Herschel Price in 1950. They were married on December 21, 1951 in Denver, Colorado. They had two children, Michael and Margaret.

Nancy and Hersh were married for 70 years, first traveling the world for his career in the Air Force. They had extended stays in the Azores, Greece, Offutt AFB in Nebraska, and RAF Alconbury in England. They retired from the service to Denver, Colorado.

Nancy continued working and was the manager of the former graphics /publications department at the University of Denver. She and Hersh were always active in their church where Nancy was in the choir and a greeter. She was an active crafter and loved knitting and sewing. Nancy was heavily involved as a volunteer for Children’s Hospital, a role she cherished.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Herschel Price; her son, Michael Price and Grandchildren - Jessica Price-Richardson of Denver and Ian Price of Plano, Texas

The family has entrusted Olingers with the arrangements.

A graveside service for Nancy will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80260.

No reception is scheduled.
