Patricia Yolanda Loing was born on August 10th, 1985 in Manado, Indonesia. Patty rested in peace on March 24th, 2013 at Eden Valley Lifestyle Center. Patty’s final days were spent surrounded by family and friends, which she has touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life. Patty is survived by her loving parents, Bobby and Geisje Gerungan of Rerer, Manado; brother Joe Loing; sister Indriane Loing-Londah and brother-in-law Joey Londah; sister Stephanie Loing; niece Abigail Loing; nephews Jason, Jaiden, Jacob Loing and Miles Londah; dog Bruno.
Although she was petite, she gave us all such courage and hope that reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved to sing, play guitar, and worship for the Lord. She spent years praising His name and spreading the gospel through her God given talents.
To many, her life would seem too short, but to those who were touched by her understood that the quality of life far exceeds the quality of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, her humor, her talent, and her love for God brought so much joy to her family and friends. And, that is what we will remember.
