Well it has been 5 months since I lost my Dad and not a day goes by I don't think about him. I talk to him often and even though he isn't here to answer it's like I know what he would say to me. Such great memories going to the drags and the stock car races. Building the dune buggy. The mini bike he got me for my 8th birthday, there was too much snow to ride it so we rode it in the basement till we couldn't stand the fumes! He gave me his love for cars and racing. I still love the races to this day and have made a career in the automotive field. He was always there to help thru all the tough times and I was so glad to be able to be there for him the last couple years.....love you dad.

I miss my dad.   He was such a force in my life right up to the end.  When I was young he opened up my world to so much.  From storybooks on his lap and jazz and Broadway tunes dancing on his toes to this beautiful country on camping trips.There was even some colorful language(from those seated around us) as we watched the Bruins play in Boston Garden!These past few years sharing pictures and stories about our precious Harlow Mae and Holton have been wonderful.  I would upload videos Warren had taken for him to enjoy and then we would talk about them.  But we would also talk about what was on Facebook, and what was going on in the world.  I so admired his intelligence and quick wit.  And as hard as it was, I admired his decision at the end.  He missed Mom so much and he had fought a good fight.  He died with dignity which was so important to him. So now when that sadness overcomes me I just close my eyes and picture them walking hand in hand looking for just the right spot with perfect light so he can capture her smile as she turns to look at him.  It is then that I know I will be okay.  I love you, Dad.

I mentioned in my remarks today at Dads memorial that I had thanked him years ago for providing me with the resources to become the photographer  instead of the photograph subject. What we both realized over time was my minimal artistic talent. If I took enough pictures I would get lucky sometimes and produce something to showoff. What I came to realize was he had a selfish reason for the camera present.  I would take pictures of everything, kids,grand kids, places I went,family functions,etc. I would dutifully bring these to view with him and mom and then just him.He would critique,instruct and comment. His intent was to live vicariously through the pictures of the life of the family around him. I haven't taken many pictures these last two months, I don't have anyone to view them with...  I'll start again because it is in my DNA to capture time in small glimpses for everyone to enjoy in the future.Thanks Dad.

We have so many wonderful memories of Ralph and Ruth. When you think of Ralph, Ruth follows along..like peas and carrots or salt and pepper. Ralph was always the voice of reason, he seemed to take all of the neighborhood kids under his wing and was a great father figure for everybody. Ralph always had a warm and welcoming smile on his face and in his heart. He and Ruth have always been so kind and special to our family, and we miss them dearly.

We thought of Ralph as one of the nicest men we had known. He was extremely loving to our daughter Jacque and her grandchildren Chloe & Rayden, and throughout the nine years Jacque was with Gary they were all family. He will be missed

I have so many fond memories of Ralph, from day one that I met him he made me feel like part of the family. He truly loved & cared for my son,my daughter in law and my grandkids as if they were his own. I remember his eyes would light up when Chloe & Rayden would walk through the door,Chloe was a princess & he always referred to Rayden as a"hot ticket".  When Gary & I would go have lunch with him I remember how much he always loved the food,no matter what it was. I also had several times alone with him that we had great conversation. I could only hope to be loved as much as they loved each other.

We are so thankful for the many years of wonderful memories we shared together. You are always in our hearts, thinking of you, Ralph and Ruthie, my sister. Sending lots of love and prayers to the whole family.

Uncle Ralph will always hold a special place in my heart. Most of my memories are from my younger years but a trip to Colorado was not complete without stopping by to see him and Aunt Ruth...they had a special way of always making you feel special. And even though I finally forgave him for moving away and taking my partner in crime with him! :)  Our family bond always remained the same; them on Boston Ct. and us on Glenn Rd. He lives on thru all our family photos... most of which we would not have if it hadn't been for him. I feel so blessed to have had him as my uncle, and to have been there to say good-bye to him. Uncle Ralph you will be missed greatly and loved always. xoxo

Ralph, you will be missed. I hope your family finds peace in the extraordinary life you lived and that you are hand in hand with your soulmate.

Ralph was a very special person, not just to me, but to the whole group of us guys growing up. When you first met Ralph he came off like a tough guy who had this kind of gritty exterior, but once you got to know him you realized there was no one softer.  He was an easy man to look up to and served as a tremendous roll model to all of us guys growing up. He always took a genuine interest in everything each of us was doing, and while at times you felt like you could get away with murder, you always knew where the line was with Ralph and knew not to cross it. I'll never forget the impact he had, not just on me, but on  each of us growing up and the roll he played in determining who we all became.

I remember many happy times spent with Uncle Ralph. Jeannette and I flew out to CO and he and Aunt Ruthie loved showing off CO to us! I also loved when I visited with my 6mos old Travis and how he took a million pictures of him just sitting in the highchair outside. They are my all time favorites! Glad that my children got to meet both Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Ralph when they came to Texas. Loved them both and know they are now together again.

Ralph you truly were a special person and a fighter. Such a strong soul and a giving person, music lover and an amazing photographer. I feel grateful to have known you, and truly miss seeing you and talking with you. What makes me happy though is knowing you are with your true love in heaven and knowing that you are happy and in no pain at all. Love you Ralph and we will meet again someday.

Gary, Linda, Glenn and families, I had no idea this guest book was open so am so grateful you notified me.   Actually, I know I am a friend but feel like a part of the family...I know the names of many of the family, including those back east and have met several.   Ruth and Ralph were such close friends to me for so many years.  I had a neat birthday card for Ralph and he died before it could be sent.   They were a very loving and special couple to their family and friends, and are missed.  Ralph was about six months younger than Clay and I remember them visiting and, in their quiet ways, watching all the activity around them.  I extend my very deep sympathy to everyone and hope to remain a friend to your wonderful family.  With love and sadness for your loss,

Great Grandpa's Passing was one of the hardest things I have ever dealt with. Even today, memories of him and grandma are constantly entering my mind. 

Great Grandpa was one of the sweetest, kindest, honest men I know. He always put a smile on your face, gave the best advice, and had the warmest hugs. 

I will never forget the Drug Talk that he had given Tyana and I. "Don't do Mary Jane," I had no clue what he was talking about, but he quickly explained. I also remember playing McDonalds with Grandma and Grandpa; both of them really enjoying our crayon fries. I always loved listening to jazz with him and going through family pictures and history. 

Grandpa had an amazing life and I am so thankful to have had his influence in my life. I love you Grandpa and I will see you and Grandma again!!

We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Watts has left behind a great legacy for his family. Thoughts and prayers for you all! Linda, Warren, and Chris you have a special place in our hearts. Love, Cyndi and John

So sorry about Uncle Ralph's passing.  He lived such an amazing life and has left some pretty big shoes to fill for his family!  I know he is back by Aunt Ruth's side where he belongs and I am sure he is planning many more adventures! May his light shine on through his family always! I have so many fond memories of Uncle Ralph. Starting at age 1 1/2 when I had the grandest time playing in their beautiful yard with a watering can. He was such a gentle soul. I am more than sure that he has joined Aunt Ruth, and my grandma and grandpas for a joyful reunion. Much love to the family!
