Grandpa Bob will be greatly missed.  He took me into his life when my dad married Pam.  I was 14 - just a little older than Barbie.  He never once treated me like a "step granddaughter".  Him and Jeanene were so wonderful and I think some of my best memories were all the huge holiday meals like Easter and Christmas with all the aunts, uncles and cousins - I really miss that. 

Also, loved our trips to go water ski.  Bob taught me how to ski in the yellow boat (the Banana, I think we called it).  Such wonderful trips to Horsetooth Reservoir and Chatfield.  He always time to make sure each grand child got their own special time. 

In the later years, when I married Mark - those two really hit it off.  I think because they both smoked and could get time in the garage away from the crowd, but also because of their love of motorcycles, cars, and other guy stuff.  Mark loved him dearly, especially since he never had a nice "grandpa" in his life. 

I will miss him dearly, but I know he is up there now with his loved ones, most of all Jeanene and Pam.  He will forever be in our hearts looking down, protecting us.

Bob you are home with your love and soul mate and  your first born Pam  No more hurt no more pain  and only happy days ahead   You are more than my brother in law ,  I was little when you moved in with us and married Nene.  You were a big brother and sometimes a father figure to me and Jerri .   You took us in when you already had  5 kids  when mom was so sick Love you Bob you will be missed always. But know you are free  and happy. Nene he is finally home 🏠 


I'll miss our friendship, Bob, and all the times we played Hand and Foot.  You're a great guy.

I first met Bob back in 1976 through Bob’s daughter Cheryl.  Bob and I got to know each other well in the last year when his health was deteriorating.  Bob was a friend.  We spent time talking in his kitchen and I feel blessed that on his 84th birthday last November, I made Bob a spice cake that was his moms recipe and I was told his favorite!  He was always happy to see me.  
Back in June 2019, Bob had a brush with death.  He was revived after his heart stopped.  On that same day, he gave his life to Christ.  Because of that decision that day in the hospital, I know that Bob has gone home- his eternal home with Jesus.  I look forward to seeing Bob again one day.  I cherished every chance I got to spend with him.  He will be missed. 

Dad,  It's been a  tough couple of years, starting back in May 2018,  I thank God everyday that goes by how glad I was to be able to help take care of you, in the hospital, through 3 surgeries and then on to rehab for another month. I tried to do everything , I thought would help you , with the house and yard, we did everything you asked us to do,  we just didn't agree on somethings.  We had our differences . There were so many cards that I sent to you, that you never received, because of someone taking them, I am so glad I answered my phone, when in the grocery store, you called to thank me for your birthday card, I couldn't believe you actually received it.  We had a great conversation when you called, I was in the grocery store, and I knew I needed to talk to you, it was a good conversation, and in the end, you told me "I love you" and I was able to tell you the same. Thank you dad, I am going to miss you so much.

        I have lived next door to Robert (Bob) and his family for nearly 43 years (September 1976 is when I moved in) I was not very much in touch the first couple of years because I was working nights as a clerk with the post office at the Terminal annex downtown denver, had a janitor job and was going to school on the VA bill(A little busy) In 1978 I got a job as a letter carrier with Littleton with more `normal hours`.
     I met all the `kids` (We are all now in our 60`s ha  ha) and got to know them as well as Bob and his wife Jeanine real well. Bob was always willing to help me out when I had a housing problem, plumbing-no sweat, build a garage- he was the guy to do the foundation and brick work, car problems- he had ideas (And later on I was able to help him out some) . ALways a smiling face and a good word for me. I honestly cannot think of a single time when he was ever upset with me for anything I said or did. Very outgoing, knowledgeable and a good person to be around, a substitute father figure for the young `kid` who moved in next door. 
    Bob- You will be missed more than I can say. Peace be with you and happiness in your new world
