Tyler “TyTy” Sutton, 31, of Franklin Ohio joined his Heavenly Father on Thursday May 7th while in Aurora Colorado. Tyler endured medical obstacles throughout his life with autism, epilepsy, and most recently chronic kidney disease. Throughout his life, he was an inspiration on how he greeted each day. In the end, his body could not fight off an infection and stepped into Heaven.
Tyler was born in Middletown Ohio on July 23rd 1994. He grew up in Franklin, sparking friendships and delivering joy in its purest form to countless others. Ty had a passion for being outdoors and traveling, always sporting one of his bright red shirts. Lovingly known as “Ty”, “TyTy”, “Ty Man”, “Pie Pie”, “Tigger” (because of his love for jumping) or any one of his many nicknames, he will be remembered as a light to all who had the honor of knowing him. Whether a close friend, or even a stranger, his insistence on calling everyone “buddy” reflected his unconditional warmth and affection.
Tyler graduated from Franklin City Schools. His family is eternally grateful to the many caring teachers, aides, therapists and devoted mentors who taught and supported his growth and education. Additionally, for Warren County DD who provided services
throughout the years and in particular his case manager, Marlana, who made it all possible. Tyler always enjoyed going to Stepping Stones Camp throughout his school years where he got to explore and kindle friendships. His family would also like to thank Dr. Chamberlain and Dr. Franz at Cincinnati Children’s TS clinic for their dedication and focus on giving him the best possible care. Tyler grew in his Christian faith attending the Franklin Methodist Church, Franklin Vineyard Community Church, and recently Franklin Grace Point Church.
After graduating, Ty pursued many adventures around the country, going on vacations and taking part in lots of activities. He loved going on hikes to local parks with Luke 5 Adventures, many thanks to all of their volunteers. He enjoyed spending his days at Unity Care in Centerville where he was able to go out in the community to go bowling, visit the library and go for “walks” in the mall. He never let anything hold him back from doing what he loved. He never stopped making his family and friends laugh and smile with his mischievous and spirited personality. They’ll miss his ornery smile, side eye, and the sunshine he brought everywhere he went. He loved to keep them on the edge of their seats with comedic expectation or give them a whack with his pool noodle. His simple pleasures of car rides, a great meal, and adventuring around the neighborhood will always be remembered fondly.
Ty was greeted in Heaven by his grandparents Bill and Evelyn Morris, Roy Sutton, great grandmother Mildred Sutton, cousin Gracie Morris, and childhood dog, Remington. Ty is survived by his unwavering mother, Lisa Morris Sutton, father, Rick Sutton, loyal brothers and sisters, Zach (Betty) Sutton, and Nick (Katherine) Sutton, precious nephew Leo, his caring Mamaw Wanda Sutton, loving uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins and dogs Tucker and Ronin. His family poured into his life as he did theirs.
The family would like to thank all those who have supported Tyler and shared their loving words.
Details on his celebration to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a fund in memory of Ty for a wheelchair accessible picnic table at a local park or Luke 5 Adventures. Fund details will be available in the near future.
