Yoshihito Hashigami, age 73, passed away on 30 March 2020. He lived in Denver Colorado for over 47 years. Unfortunately, he was a victim of the Coronavirus pandemic sweeping the nation, affecting so many lives.
His father Sajiro, his mother Eiko. He is survived by his wife Tamako and his only Son Kazunori (Kaz), brother Fumitoshi, and his Sisters Kayako and Etsuko.
He was born in Taiji-cho, Wakayama ken, Japan. He lived life as a Fisherman, Ship driver, Chef, Janitor, and Landscaper. But his best role, that of father and husband.
He was always proud of the long term relationships he forged as a Landscaper. He kept his customers for many, many years. Some of whom he may see again, in heaven.
The one story, that stands out was recalled by a good friend, “ I remember your pops talking about a time he was steering the ship and fell asleep, the boat kept going in circles, what travel was supposed to cover miles, covered a donut instead!” Fitting, he loved Donuts and food!
