Alberto J. Valdivieso, 59, of Niles was born August 13, 1954 in Lima, Peru and passed away July 28, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Alberto was the beloved husband of Rosa E. nee Alvarez; loving father of Cristian J. Valdivieso and Theresa R. Valdivieso; cherished son of Berta P. and the late Manuel M. Valdivieso; dear brother of Carlos, Dorlisa M., Teresa P., Manuel (Astrid), Felipe A., and Jorge B. (Sandra) Valdivieso and fond brother-in-law of Felicitas Alvarez, Serafina Alvarez and many other members of the Alvarez-Salazar family. Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2014 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, (Northwest Highway/Rt. 14 and Rand Road) Des Plaines. Prayers will be said Saturday, August 2 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson Street, Des Plaines for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
